since i read first a little about rules and such i decided this topic should be put here because the reason for abstaining from masturbation is religious. the last time i did it was around the beginning of the year, and since then have not had a wet dream. there's not necessarily a pain in my balls...but i can feel pressure...i guess is the best way to describe it. for some people, however, they are given permission to masturbate because, for some reason, they don't have wet dreams. since about the beginning of seventh grade i've stopped and started masturbating; going no longer than two or three weeks in between, with only one wet dream. now that it's been almost two months with no wet dream, i am wondering if i should talk with my religious leader about getting that special permission (i'm not gonna lie...that'd be pretty sweet :yesnod:)

i forgot to add that i have had several erotic dreams; even ejaculating in the dream, but never in reality. often i will, in my dreams, start to have an erotic dream by having sex or looking at pornography but will immediately stop because of religious convictions. i'm just wondering if there is anyway to get past that...like someway to tell myself in the dream that it's ok...especially since my dreams are so vivid and real

Hey Douglas,

It seems to me, that you and I are abstaining for both reasons. I am striving for purity, but man it can get so tough trying to abstain with pent up sexual energy. I think abstinence is a great thing, but even I have a difficult time making it past the two week mark. I have abstained for 70 days in a row, and I did have three to four wet dreams from that. Sometimes it takes a while for your body to have a wet dream, but that semen has to go somewhere it just can't stay up in you forever. Unless your body releases it when you urinate.

Have you noticed an increase in the strength of your erections during abstinence. Do you feel more sensitivity down in the groin area? Can you feel aroused and not be erect. These are things you should ask, because those are other benefits of abstinence.

I really enjoyed being abstinence, because I have extra pent up sexual energy, that I tend to shift into physical energy in either working out, or running or being more active and dominating. However, the longer I abstain the hornier I get. I just have to manage my horniness by staying focused on other things beside sex. Typically when I do that, I notice that I have many more sexual type dreams. Usually I will have several erotic dry dreams, before I have a sexual wet dream.

I have recently backslidden by MBing, but now I am back to 8 days with no MBing. I can tell the T-buzz is coming back. If you need accountability I am here for you man.
Only until one tries to give up masturbation, will that person truly treasure the pleasures of abstinence!
