I found a forum earlier that tried a 21 challenge to stop masterbation. In this forum 21 days seems not that much because all of us can do it with our mindset and information to guide us in this forum. We can work together and log our goals and get there. Who needs 21 days just keep on going and destroy it. Wet dreams are so much better than just the 21 days. But in the other forum a few were succesfull. Lol, I cant believe i read all of it, the 52 pages . You can see many were determined and only a few survived to the end. The ones that did were satisified and liked the results. The forum kind of reminds me of darmins theory. That nature selects. I could certainly see that coming to play with people jumping of the bandwagon, begining again, and many finally giving up.

wow that is a good quote. I did read all of it and this quote I did not evaluate how much sense it makes. Guess I was really busy in seeing how many people would make it to the 21 days and read it fast but that is a good quote. "the mind and body are one, but the mind should always have control, if the other way around then you have trouble." remember this quote from some where but it is true. You got to have control and stop at the temptations than you can truly feel you have succeeded.

Stopping that temptation is a good thing. I learned of several ways... get up... go outside... or go in a area where your family is... that urge suddenly stops... reduce the amount of alone times as much as possible.

The thing that bothers me about some people in the challenge is the ones who are like, "I did it, 21 straight days! I had sex 18 times though so that helped." If you ask me that's not completing the challenge. It would be easy not to MB if you were getting a release from sex.

Ha ha, yeah, that would hardly be a challenge then!

Well, then there are some positives to being single and not getting sex XD

I have seen some people on this forum doing the same, but yeah. I like the 40 day and 40 night challenge that is going on.

Well, You are going through something I am going through I don't know how many times you masturbate. But before I started to try and stop I was staying at home allot and because of that I used to masturbate allot (8 times a day was normal, now I'm down it just a few times). I had this trouble for quite a while till my sister caught me and said she had been watching for a few minutes. After that I found that if I made myself more busy during the days both a home and doing a part time job really helped the amount of times that I did it, because I had allot of things besides masturbating on my mind (although I used to love doing it). So in finishing make yourself busy do something beside masturbating.

I understand this is mostly against what this forum is intended for but I've heard that masturbation is actually healthy for your prostate. Isn't it bad to stop it all together ?

is it really that much easier to get a wet dream if you don't masturbate?
i masturbate a lot, almost always once every day, and i still get wet dreams quite often... did i miss something, or is it just because i'm a female and most of you are male, or is it because of some other reason?

Do you actually have an orgasm, or do you just wake up just all wet and slippery down below?

i get an orgasm quite often, like half of the times. does it still count as a wet dream then?

Yes, if you had a dream , and orgasm, then it's a WD (so long as there was no physical stimulation, like rubbing yourself or humping the mattress)

I think AB helps because we don't release semen like we do when we MB. The body has to release the excess semen and does it by an SE or WD.
But then, females dont have to release any semen, which means you should get less WD's, so maybe it's just a difference between males and females.
