Hello everyone! My name is Charlie and I am new to this forum.

It will be my 30th birthday this coming Wednesday, a good milestone to set new plans for a better decade in my life.

One of my plans is to minimize the number of MBs and to ejaculate only by means of sex or WDs. Since I am not in a relationship or actively dating now, I have a strong expectation to have WDs back to my life.

I am making this plan because it has been years since my last WD. I used to have regular WDs when I didn't have enough voluntary ejaculations between the age of 14 and 27. But these years WD has completely disappeared. Ecen worse, I also noticed obvious decrease of my ejaculation volume.

First welcome here, i hope we will have you around for a while, maybe up to your next WD.
ABing can be really hard, from there are two main road:
full stop or progressive stop.
Starting a journal in the Wet Dream Diaries, Logs and Journals section an post regularly your goals and achievements could help, You will also get a lot of support from guys here if you're struggling or having doubts about quitting (either MB or AB).
Reading other guys Journal might helps also.

I deffo know what you mean about looking at your life once you hit 30 (welcome to the old mans club by the way!). I had a similar revelation (epiphany seems too strong a word!) when i turned 30 and was in some bad habits when it came to too much fooling around and porn and stuff.

Never easy to make positive change, and stumbling is part of it. It's getting back up again which counts and builds character!

I think i have similar goals to you. Originally, i was aiming for an elusive WD, but revised this when I kept beating myself up when I would hook up. So now, goals revised a little. No more masturbation, and no more porn. Which actually feels really achievable. I've not jerked off or watched porn in weeks. I've also found it gives a positive side effect of actually focusing on my sex life. So if/when it happens, its better, I'm more present, and the orgasms are way better!

I'd echo what Charly said, set up a blog just so you have somewhere to jot down anything (no matter how random) and come say hi in the chat room if your tempted to touch naughty parts before heading to bed!

Not everyone reaches that point, but I think there's a natural and built in tendency for guys to move beyond MB and simply stop doing it because they prefer not to do it. "Real men don't masturbate" may have an element of truth to it.
