I have been waxing for a few years and every time I get myself waxed, the feeling is really good. Feeling all clean and smooth, but it's kind of really erotic and stimulating, I will be semi-erect at least half of the day and when it becomes a hard-on, it's really difficult to control. But will the increase in stimulation increase the chances of having a WD?

I my case, I don't "wax", but I do shave my pubes (although not regularly), and when I do I feel more inclined to "play" with my sex, and more aware of it, which I would say does help me achieve WDs.

I mean that with pubes shaved, my testicles, pubis and groin are much softer to the touch, and more sensitive to any kind of massage, and therefore more prone to arousal, and more easily aroused. That leads to a general heightened awareness of your own sexual organs, which in my case helps bring in a general state of mind which is prone to having WDs.

Woah, dreamito, that sounds quite of good. So I guess I should be more aware of myself too, not touching myself unnecessarily from now onwards, since I have just gotten myself waxed. I hope it works?

I used to shave my pubes but like others have said, it gets really irritating after a few days and doesn't become worth it in my view because of the discomfort. Plus, I wouldn't recommend it if you're trying to abstain because after shaving my groin I couldn't keep my hands off of myself and had to jack off.

To a certain extent, I do agree with what you have said, keepcalm. But I really do enjoy the clean and smooth feeling a lot. But the urge to touch myself down there is really very difficult to control, as like what you said. Today is the 2nd day, since I got myself waxed on Saturday, and I managed to abstain through it.

That happened to me too, at the beginning.

However I have refined my "technique": I now shave the scrotum, perineum and lower groin, but the pubic/pelvic zone and the upper groin I don't shave them, instead I cut them super short with a hair trimmer machine. That is because otherwise I had discomfort on the pubic and upper groin zones when the hair was growing there the next days after shaving (my guess being because in those zones my body hair grows "slanted", while on the scrotum, perineum and lower groin it grows "straight").

OK. Despite all that I wrote earlier, I have decided for a change, and have just shaved my pubes -- in their entirety. Something different -- I wondered if I might surprise myself and prefer it.

So I've decided to go with a clean shave for the next six months, and see what I conclude.

It *does* make the principal entity seem larger -- a bit of a shock to the system.

Also, I went to the gymnasium a few hours later, and no one, when I walked towards the showers no one seemed to notice or stare. Was a bit surprised. And I was not embarrassed.

I have shaved mine since I was about 15 and yes it has to be quite possibly the best feeling. When I had my surgery I did not shave for a few weeks and it drove me crazy!

I've regularly shaved my pubes since I was 19 and after the first 6 months or so, the excitement wears off. Yoy grt used to the extra stimulation and you don't want to jack off every time you do it. Now it's just part of my routine throughout the week. I also recommend being extra careful. Getting a cut on your scrotum or penis is no fun.

I've tried shaving pubes before, but whenever I do it, the shaven area gets really itchy a few days after shaving. I read somewhere it's from the hair growing back. Is there any way to solve this? Have you found any solutions?

It seems to me that more young men shave or trim. Although it is changing back a bit now with more beards and men being proud of their body hair. I find shaved pubes quite feminine.

I trim mine and shave in some particular area. Look more neat I think.

Although it seems more feminine, but at the same time, it's cleaner and more hygienic. It's neater and more pleasing to see too.

Not tried waxing yet but have looked into, I do shave and find things so much more comfortable/cleaner.

Yes it will get your horny whether you shave or wax, waxing or sugaring lasts longer but it is recommended or I should say I have read recently that if you should not shave more than every 40 days that way it reduces the stimulation or the urge to MB.

I had the same problem when I first started shaving. Yes, You get itchy because your hair is starting to grow back. once it starts growing back it hurts real bad. The best thing you can do is try to hold it out till the hair grows back.

No Azurite it does not it may make the area above the penis more prone to itching in the day or two after you shave. But strangely only the area directly above.

It's now been two months since I shaved my pubes in their entirety, and I have decided to let them continue to grow. Does anyone find that pubic hair -- this may sound funny, but I mean it -- makes for a good soap dish in the shower?
Also, I wonder if person's who had a late puberty are more likely not to shave their pubes? Completely shaved pubes can bring back the embarrassment of gym class in Grade 10.

Honestly, for me it depends on the woman, although I default to liking a sensible trim best.

Part of it is the color and density of her hair -- I don't want to sandpaper my face on a lot of dark stubble. Wispy or lighter colored hair is nice. Another factor is her body type; I like more hair if a woman has more meat on her bones. Similarly, if a woman is generally more hairy to begin with, hair down there makes more sense.

It doesn't make the penis more sensitive, but can make the skin you shaved seem more sensitive bacause you hair is no longer there to absorb or buffer anything that comes into contact with it. It can make your genitals appear larger, for the very same reason. Depending on your kink, this may facilitate or heighten arousal.

Yes, and that was the exact reason to why I move on to waxing. The preference to not have any hair, even if I might get embarrassed to have a completely hairless pubes.
