Hi everyone. Curious to how sex with your wife vs MB has an effect on wd's. Does just abstaining from Mbs increase your ability to have a wetdream, or would intercourse get in the way of that WD as well?

I can't see what the difference would be...Wondering what you all have seen and/or experienced. Thanks!

That's a good question!

I think there is a big difference between sex and MB in terms of our brains.
Sex always leaves me with a buzz, MB often puts me on a downer.
Once you train your body for WD it is possible to enjoy both sex and WD (assuming you not having sex every other day!).
I'm sure it depends on lots of factors like libido, health, age etc. I have had lots if sex in a week and still had a WD and I have had very little sex in a month and no WD!

But the key is training your brain away from MB altogether.

I would think that when you don't MB at all, that having sex and then going without it for a while would actually help stimulate WDs because MB is not a realistic alternative. But if you have sex and also MB between times, WDs would be extremely unlikely.

Would you say that never MBing also makes sex feel better?

Personally i think sex and MB would affect a WD because you are empty after both..But sex after no MB is awesome.

Can't really say one way or another, but I think when my wife and I went over a week without having sex, I was also not allowing myself to MB either. Out of the middle of no where I had a WD. I was thinking it was going to take longer to have one but maybe stopping everything was enough to trigger a WD.

All I can say is keep trying and just allow it to happen.
