I have been abstaining for 3 months now and got no wet dream. I have read an article that abstaining causes prostate enlargement so I became worried because one symptom of this is urine incontinece which I had when I started abstaining. I have read also that zinc is good for prostate health and you can get natural zinc from pumpkin seeds so I purchase bunch of this and ate it for 2 days. In the 2nd night, I EXPERIENCED MY FIRST WD SINCE MY ABSTINENCE. Maybe consuming zinc helps the prostate to achieve a WD. Just my opinion. Hope this helps for thise who can't attain a WD.

I have been using zinc in a zma stack for awhile. It does help a bit with sleep, but then again, so does GABA.
The one thing I can confirm though, the likelihood of achieving a wd while taking zinc or gaba is not increased in the least. There are still other factors involved such as your body and mind's need for a wd and how long you have abstained.
Heck most of the time when I have a wd it is usually when I'm off those supplements.

Hi, my first post but the zinc supplements sparked an interest. I've eaten about 95% vegetarian for a long time so take supplements as a regular part of my diet/eating. I feel our soil depletion means my veggies aren't the fullest in nutrients and meat is something my digestive system prefers to live without. I'm very in tune with my body so any supplements I add, I try to add individually in small quantities then increase so I can tell if they have any adverse reaction.
I have always supplmented zinc in some form. Recently though, I have read these forums and been intrigued. I've added up my supplements (some of which are part of my regular intake.) I take quite a bit of zinc but haven't experienced loss of appetite, headaches, stomach issues...all of which are side effects.

I'm one week of complete AB, but started with Lecithin and pygeum (already taking but increased quite a bit) and starting to notice some leaking just after adding those two in quantity over the last couple of days. I normally take about 55mg of zinc in a day and keep that the same. The lecithin is currently at 2400mg and pygeum at 280mg. I'm just trying to amp things up a bit as an experiment and will cut down once I experience the WD. Zinc has helped me sleep for sure, and I've noticed my finger and toenails seem to grow more for some reason since i started taking zinc. So, i'm with you...hoping zinc will help too.

I read that zinc is actually good for boosting testosterone production. With the increase of testosterone it could likely lead to heightened arousal. Maybe that would just increase the chance of dreaming about erotic thoughts.

Dropped the lecithin to 1200mg recently and added l-argenine. Sorry, can't spell and doing this on mobile. Anyway, I never dream but yesterday on international flight, dreamt taboo sexual things. Was interesting to me because of taboo nature of things and because it was a dream. Anyway, occasional precum leakage is occurring more often and never used to have much at all, the longer time between MB is helping too I'm sure. I find I sleep less now but deeper. It has been about two months since I started supplements and almost a month since I amped everything up. I feel great.
