I'm not sure if anyone knows this but how long on average does it take for the transition between having WD's and switching to MB'ing take? How frequently do I have to MB for my WD's to stop?

I have read in many places that you have to start MB'ing and then your WD's will stop, but it never tells you how frequently and for how many months you have to MB for them to stop which makes no sense.

Is it possible that if I keep doing it every day for 1 month that my WD's will stop forever? I don't think I have ever MB'ed daily for longer than a week, which could be the reason my WD's never stop. I very rarely MB two days in a row, usually I do it then abstain, have a WD then MB/AB again, but I never MB enough to override my WD's for longer than two weeks.

Vincent, I just looked at your profile and did some simple arithmetic. You say that you have had 9776 WD's and you are 23. Let's assume you started getting your first WD at age 10. this means that you have had 13 years of WD's. Divide it out and the answer is 752 WD's per year!!! That's about 2 every night!!! No wonder you want to stop them. One thing I also noted is that you take only one minute to ejaculate!! That's just too little time!! You must slow down and take longer to ejaculate. This also means that you will have the pleasure of MB for longer. Try to slow down a bit and see if it helps. It would also be good if you could keep us posted on your progress.

Lol I don't know about you, but I wouldn't mind having 2 per night other than the mess. Especially because I usually feel the ejaculation.

My hypothesis is that if a male MBs infrequently (once or twice a week), he can keep his WDs, but once his MB frequency gets close to daily (5-7 times per week), his WDs will stop forever. You might only have to MB daily for a week to make WDs stop.

The case of a former WDer I call Lance is here: http://www.healthystrokes.com/wetdreams.html (look for the table near the bottom of the page). Lance had more than 90 WDs in the year after his first one. When he MB to orgasm the first time, he still had 11 WDs in the following month. But when he made MB a daily habit, he only had two more WDs and then they stopped forever.

Another case, the male was averaging 3 WD per month. After MB the first time, he had two WDs the following week, then made MB a daily habit and never had another WD.

Both of those are typical cases, although Lance kept much more data on his wet dreams than the average male.

It's true WDs mostly stop temporarily if you keep MBing, but I want to stop WDs then go straight into AB forever without having any more WDs, does it say if Lance stopped MBing again and had no WDs after that? It doesn't seem like he stopped, so obviously no WDs would occur until he stops MBing for a while.

Are there any cases where the person had WDs, started MBing frequently but temporarily, then ABed again and didn't have any WDs ever again?

I have MBed for the past 4 days, 2 or 3 on the first day, 3 on the second day and 2 on the third I think, 1 on the fourth, then I had a WD that night even though I MBed before. Does this mean it's not going to work? It wasn't really a WD because there was no cum, but if I hadn't woken myself up there would have been, usually this happens when I try wake myself up from a sexual dream/wet dream before I cum but don't wake up soon enough and there is a small dry ejaculation, waking up usually cancels out everything instantly unless I have already started ejaculating, so I was just about to but woke up, so it was like a half-ejaculation.

I think what makes WDs really unenjoyable is waking up too soon, if you are asleep while ejaculating, they are much better, because then it's not cancelled before it's finished, but you have to be very tired for that because they usually wake you up. I have had many where I didn't wake up, and there was so much cum when I woke up a bit later, usually these ones happen early in the night.


I don't actually have 2 WD's a night, but have had 2 in one night quite a few times. I just put a random number of WD's because there's no way of counting them.

Also I wanted to put less than 1 minute to ejaculate but that doesn't go there, I usually only take a few seconds.


When I first had a WD it was so amazing, I kept wanting more but only had them every week or so but they were very clear and lucid, I tried making my mind up every night about wanting a WD to happen so I could be satisfied but nothing changed, then at one point something changed in my mind and they became very frequent, on average every second or third night, often I would AB for a week with no WDs using special sleeping techniques, then they would happen in chains after I have the first one because I would give up on trying completely thinking no more would happen for a while. It's like suppressing WDs causes even more WDs, when WDs would usually occur if you manage to prevent them it seems to build them up somehow then a whole bunch happen at once, this is exactly what I did before having 3 WDs one night a long time ago.

Yeah right! I think everything you say is 'just random'. Or to put it more clearly. just bullshit. That how I see it, and it be only my opinion.
