I use opendns and dansguardian on Linux (Ubuntu). For windows K9 Web Protection is pretty good and opendns works as well. I also put an image blocker on my web browser, especially for weeks when temptation is really high or I keep failing. Though eventually, I hope to get to a point where blockers aren't even necessary. But that will take a bit of training and effort.

I use OpenDNS also and have been really pleased with it. I bought a Netgear router and it integrates with the settings I choose through the OpenDNS portal.
