Now that I've looked around various logs a bit, I realize that edging myself to near completion is most likely detrimental to achieving a wet dream during AB. I'm only five days in without ejaculating, but each of those five nights I've been jacking off lightly and edging quite a bit. I'm now interested in restricting myself from both porn and unnecessary touching of my penis in hopes that this aids the build up leading to a wet dream.

My question is whether you think I should keep going (from 5 days AB) while cutting out porn and edging from here on out, OR should I start over with a new slate, so to speak. My idea is that I would jack off sometime tomorrow night and start AB again Thursday, adding no porn or edging to the AB plan. Will this make a difference physically? If not, is it a good idea to enforce stronger willpower? Any thoughts are much appreciated!

It's 5 days worth of cum build-up, if nothing else. 5 days' worth of T-buzz won't do you any harm at all. Also, in my experience at least, breaking a run of AB generally makes me more likely to binge and throw in a second or third, often it's on the same day. It's an unfortunate side-effect of counting the days of ABing. If you break your run of ABing in the morning, you can jack off again before you go to bed that night and the next day will still be day 1. It's like the second wank is 'free'.

So yeah, I'd just carry on. Good work in making it to 5 days - that's where I am at today as well.

no difference in my opinion and experience but each person is different. my opinion is just stay with your AB and cut out the porn and edging and you should do fine if u stick to it and your already ahead in the number of days.

best way to be successful is not give into anything that gets u horny if AB for WD is your goal. no unnecessary touching at all is best cuz touching leads to fail.

im coming from the same place, and after 5 days of porn, although without edging, its explained in my log, i just stopped everything sex related, and i feel great. im now day 8, which is more than ive ever managed. i miss my precum tho, but hope itll start flowing soon enough :-)

So, I did break yesterday... a movie called 54, full of a slew of hot, mostly naked people, came on VH1 a bit late at night and I couldn't resist how turned on I was getting.

But I've rebooted today, avoiding porn and any unnecessary touching. Back to Day 1 of AB, but hopefully with a more fruitful strategy this time.
