I sleep on my stomach and have had a number of wet dreams.All my friends who have had wet dreams say they sleep on their back or side.Does anyone else have wet dreams that sleeps on their stomach?

Yes, my first few were definitely on my stomach. But because this allowed the wet spot to soak through to the sheets I retrained myself to sleep on my back or side.

I guess that in itself is ironic because I had previously trained myself to sleep on my stomach when I was a kid! I used to have terrifying nightmares - sleep paralysis - that would always be more frightening and harder to move and wake up from if I was laying (vulnerable?) on my back rather than on my stomach. I probably enjoyed a few years of nightmare-free sleep sleeping on my stomach before I started getting wet dreams, but by then even my nightmares seemed to almost completely vanish or reduce in severity. Now they are very rare (but like last weekend, not impossible).

Mine always seem to happen while I'm on my stomach. I slept on my futon 2 days this week on my side and didn't have one. I don't think it's from stimulation though, because I don't move at all when I sleep.

I've had WDs in all sleeping positions (bakc, stomach and side), my 1st I remember very clearly I was on my back, which seems to be the most common WD position for me. I don't sleep on my stomach very often, but I do remember a couple times having a WD on my stomach and I woke up humping the mattress, which I don't think had anything to do with brining on the WD to start, but that additional physical stimulation may have helped me to actually climax. I also read somewhere that females have more WDs on their stomach because gravity creates greater bloodflow to the genitals in that position, seems that could be likely for males, too.

Woah i always tend to sleep on my back but i might be on my stomach for one night, it sounds most interesting and i am hoping to have a WD!
