one month at minimum

well i've decided that I want to abstain for a minimum of one month. I don't want to abstain during the exam period at uni, because I would quite like to relieve myself at a time of stress when I want and I have always quite liked relieving myself at night to make myself a little sleepier. My exams are in April however, and having a month abstaining and experimenting with seeing the ab benefits, shouldn't do me any harm. I'm hoping to make one month minimum, then as soon as my exams are over in early May, I want to go for a long long time, for many many months.

Good luck as you start your journey! If you can go a month, you can go indefinitely.

thank you although i know that that's not really true. If you have other options for orgasm with a partner, then I would imagine it is easy to give up masturbating but if you don't for long periods of time, as I will not, then unless you are determined to go all the way, there is definitely a massive risk of blowing it and giving in.

I could have given in today. not even through being horny, just out of frustration. :violin:

I didn't get to the point of stroking myself but the idea was strong in my head, and I got very close to doing it. I should keep going I know and just make a month and hopefully have some of the abstinent benefits documented on the internet. One thing abstaining does do is make you want to leave the house and go out, which I suppose can only be a good thing.

well I gave in to this one month minimum idea...

I just can't be bothered to go through the whole abstaining thing when the exams are so close. i mean, today in class, I didn't even feel that horny but I felt like I was getting full down there and just wanted to feel lighter, if you know what I mean. At first I felt drowzy and tired for quite a while but now I feel relieved that I have given in because I feel more relaxed within my mind.

I will admit that maybe I was stressed at the time and I have had a few personal difficulties, so anyone abstaining don't think that it's worth giving in when you are aiming for wds. As soon as the exams end, I am hoping to go for it until October and get all the benefits from abstaining. For me though i feel as if I've made the right decision and in eight weeks I'll hope to go six months and I'm really looking forward to it.

I gave up MB'ing for Lent and then something got me excited about spontaneous ejaculation. I won't go into detail about it so as of Sunday it has been 3 days since I last MB'ed. :greetings-clappingyellow: So I hope the month of March, I can go AB and perhaps get a WD. I know I can do this.
