Sleep Position Causes Sexual Dreams?

I got this in my e-mail the other day and thought it was very interesting. The amazing thing is, I have been sleeping like this 3 times I have had wet dreams. Perhaps there is something to this?

The position that the article describes, sleeping face down with your arms stretched over your head, sounds uncomfortable to me (plus my bed is not long enough to stretch out that far). I have to sleep either on my back or side. For what it's worth, most of my WDs have occurred when on my back.

That's how I sleep often. Though my arms kind of hang of the side of the bed. I dunno if it causes sexual dreams, but I do wake up humping the bed quite often.

Interesting -- I can't say that applies to me, I've never been comfortable sleeping in that position and it didn't seem to affect my having wet dreams.

OK...I believe there may be something to this.

The night I awoke having a WD I was sleeping on my stomach with my arms up around my head. (Not like straight up above my head but elbows bent and hands resting on the bed above my head.)

Then last night I was having an EXTREMELY vivid dream about me and a girl I work with. I awoke as I was ejaculating in the dream...and if I hadn't awakened I am convinced I would have had a WD. Heart racing, pecker pulsing rock hard...etc...When I woke up I realized I was in the same position I was the night I had the WD.

This position is what the article suggests causes "sexual dreams". Just something to think about. I know this position is not comfortable to all, but to me it is. It's a similar position to sitting in a chair and raising your arms and resting your wrists or hands on top of your head.

i think that study is prob true. i think when u get a boner during the night the pressure against it will trigger a dream. Problem with me is i will sleep hump the bed and cum that way.

I think that happened to me last night as I was in that position last night and I awoke this morning mid-orgasm and I think I was humping the sheets!

Interesting ideas... I seem to remember the few WD's I had when I was younger, happening with me in my usual sleeping position o0f flat on my back. I don't know any ways to comfortably sleep on my stomach...

My wet dreams always occurred while I slept on my back. Maybe I should try this position.

I wake up humping the bed if I sleep facedown and with my arms under the pillow. Also, it's definitely pleasurable if I sleep naked, but if I'm on my WD cycle, then it doesn't work because I don't want to spray everywhere and mess up my sheets. For me, and if I really wanted to have a crazy WD, the trifecta would be AB/naked/facedown. But, each person is different.
