We stayed in a hotel this weekend and IT happened- WD last night, embarrassing. She didn't notice because we were in separate beds, but it was pretty awkward :/ All I could think was... what a mess.

Thats a good idea for those times when you don't actually welcome the delight of a WD. They were new underwear and the did feel really good though

The strange thing about that effect is I might notice while laying in bed with new underwear that I feel the difference and it might cause an erection but once I am sleeping I basically should not notice something so slight touching me so I wonder what role that has in causing a wet dream. Is it the actual different feeling of the underwear against my penis that triggers a wet dream or just the memory of it I had when awake that got the hormones and thoughts started?

Yeh, I'd stuff my wet undies as far down into my backpack as I could to hide them. I always worried about the smell though, and wondered if some of my friends knew what had happened. One did, but it wasn't because of the smell.

Huh, I wonder if the novelty of sleeping in a new situation might trigger it. I've had two WDs while camping, and once while sleeping over at a friend's house. Though in the two camping situations, I was sleeping next to someone, too. We were in seperate sleeping bags of course, but our bodies were touching ea other somewhat, like leaning next to ea other, and I always thought that the body heat/pressure was a factor since I'm not used to that.

I reckon a change in sleeping location or situation (with a friend) could trigger a wd. I had a few while travelling with my girlfriend, we weren't having sex at the time, so i guess the fluids built up. I told her about it when it happened, it was a little embarasing, but i have since WD'd next to her a couple more times since then and we both think its cool... although a little unfair! she doesnt get WD's and I do...

I remember getting them in the car on long trips to see my grandparents. The first time it happened I was mortified, it wasn't like at home where I could take care of things. After that I would always pad my underwear in toilet paper if we took a long trip in case it happened again - and that saved me quite a few times!
