At the end of the day, you just have to have and practice self control: Nobody has the control over your hand(s) and dick better than yourself. However, there is always some reason why we men (not sure if it applies to women or not) masturbate. Try to identify what triggers you have and avoid those situations/things as much as possible. For example, if you tend to jack off when you are home alone, do your best not to be home alone. If it's because you are "bored" for whatever reason, try to do things to occupy your time. If you find yourself lacking things to do, try picking up something new (just google hobbies for men and you can find loads of stuff to do with your time).
If it helps, keep a calendar/tally of how long you can stay abstinent. A lot of people find this helpful and get pumped up when they can check off a week of not masturbating. For me, it just created a bunch of anxiety because I wanted a WD and checking off the days just meant another day without a wet dream. Anyway, there are some ideas for you. Hope they help.
