Hey everyone,

I want to do something of a survey. I have yet to have a wet dream and I am on about 3 weeks of abstinence. I am curious to know from those who have had 1 or more wet dreams a few things.

First, what type of underwear (boxers, briefs, jock strap, no underwear, or another option [please list it]) do you typically have your wet dreams in?

Second, how would you describe the fit of your underwear in relation to the type you wear? There are a few options: tight, normal or loose. Tight would be like maybe a size too small or really shrunk so that they are tight against your package/body. Normal would be, well, normal fit for whatever your underwear is (for example, boxers normally are loose and let things hang more where briefs normally are relatively more form fitting). Finally, loose would describe something like a size to large or a really stretched out pair of underwear that fit very loosely or are baggy when worn.

Lastly, you can post any additional thoughts or comments you have on the subject.

The second question is dependent upon the first one. So, for example, if you wear boxers that are the correct size/fit, you would choose "boxers" and "normal". You WOULD NOT choose "boxers" and "loose" because normally/typically, boxers are looser fitting than say briefs would be. Also, if you wear no underwear, you can't really answer the second question...

I only started sleeping nude about two months ago and have only had about 3-4 nude wd's. Personally, I don't think underwear plays a role in the amount of wd's you get. Your diet, body weight, activity level and anxiety levels, amongst other things, all play a role. My 2c worth.

Thanks for the replies fellas. Based on what you guys think, there probably isn't a strong correlation between underwear and WD's. My original thoughts were that maybe wearing tighter fitting underwear (like briefs) would provide more tension/resistance to stimulate your dick more (so, something more close to touch) than say boxers or going commando which dont offer the tightness that briefs do.

I've been sleeping nude for the past week and going on 26 days of AB (yay me ). I think tonight I might wear some new briefs that I got (they are pretty soft and relatively form fitting) and see if I can feel any difference if I wake up during the night (which usually happens at least once) or if my dreams take a different direction. i think u might see some changes going from what your used to wearing to something different. when i switched from briefs to boxers i had a 24 hour boner for like 2 weeks. i suspect the same would happen if your wore boxers all your life then suddenly switched to briefs. its kinda like the first time you sleep naked, the feeling is so different you have a boner all night long. but u eventually get used to it.

I was also wondering about the effect of various types of underwear/nudity on wet dreams. I've yet to have a wet dream and was wondering if I could expedite it any way by underwear choice (or lack thereof). I did try sleeping nude one night, but like other have said, I was not accustomed to it, and found it rather strange. That's not to say that I wouldn't like to try sleeping naked more in the future. But for now I think I'll continue to wear my trunks to bed.
