The feeling during a WD and your subconscious mind!

Guys, I am not the best to talk about WD as I only had a real one few years ago and I didn't remember much of the dream. But many of you have had many WD and many of you also have had sexual experience of some kind. Here is what I am trying to understand.

I read many people detailing their WD experiences and stating that they experience an awesome feeling of real kisses and real touches during the dream in addition to a much stronger orgasm.

So my question:

If you have had WDS, does what happen in the WD (touch, kiss, even sex) has any relation with an activity that you did before in your life with someone? I know that if we experience a situation with intese feeling (fear, love ,etc), then the brain stores it in its long term memory forever. In other words, think of the feeling as the ink the brain uses to write the experience down. So is it the case that the brain re-manufacture (or recycle) those memorable experiences during the WD but put them inside a story that is assembled based on what is in our subconscious mind (that is what is going in our life at the moment)?

Any thoughts? does the touch/feel of your first kiss/sex/hug come somehow in the WD? may be with a difference person? etc..?

If i understand your question right i would say yes it does have some relation to my dreams and what occurs in future dreams. when i first had a WD it was very gay in nature and up to that point in my life my only sexual experience was comparing with other guys. my dreams changed later especially when i started watching porn but i was jerkin off so much by this time that i wasnt having many actual WDs just a lot of sexual dreams but they were still more or less a WD just with a lot of precum and no release most of the time. every now and then i would have a full on WD even though i was jerkin a lot. the dreams became very random after i started watchin porn like getting a blowjob one time then a hand job next, even an occasional gay dream. i though it was odd cuz for a long time i never really dreamed about actual sex which is what turned me on the most when awake haha. then awhile after i turned 15 i had my first actual sex dream. I swear i could see everything, feel it, smell it. it has been a frequent reoccurring dream for some time and has changed a bit over time though. When i first started dreaming about actual sex it seemed real, felt real but when i started chatting with people and they described it too me i realized that in dreams where i had actual penetration it felt just like jerking myself off. everyone described it to me as wet, moist and warm but mine were not wet or moist and were not warm yet in the dream i could feel the heat of the jacuzzi and the cold air on my back, i could see the beads of water on the girl. i think my mind didnt have a clue what it would feel like so it took when it did know and went with it. about six month ago i had an experience with my gf and my latest dreams about sex i can feel the wetness, the warmth, and lately even a weird pulsation. i think this is my minds idea of what happens cuz im still virgin and have no idea what it actually feels like but lets just say my finger is no longer a virgin haha, and my WDs now reflect what i think it feels like.

i have a lot of sex dreams almost every day and they are all wet somewhat because i precum a lot but only 1 out of maybe 20 actually are full on "wet" dreams with a actual release of sperm.

I have had many variations of things that have happened in my dreams and with different people too. i think one on my biggest surprises was kissing. until May of 2011 i had no idea kissing was as good as it is and that has become a big part of many dreams. i can kiss my gf for hours, haha. one thing that happend just recently is i was talking with someone here on forum chat or MSN i dont remember and we talked about something i cant remember now but i had a dream about it the following night which was intresting. i have thought of things before and dreamed about them but i dont ever recall someone else saying something and then i have a dream about it.

Thanks, Zack for the informative reply. Yes that is exactly what I was asking about. I think as you said, that our brain takes our current idea about sex and translate it into dreams. As you said, once your experience a feeling of a kiss and associate it with sex, your brain adds it as a part of your WD experience. Also exacly like you said, since your idea of sex is DRY, all yoru sexual dreams, the sex felt dry and just like humping, but those who had actual sex, know that sex is wet and that is why they felt it in their WD.

I was curious though if our brian can manufacture something new and extrapolate. For example, When Zach said that all his penetration dreams were dry , then he learnt that penetration is not dry and WET, he still was not able to have a dream in which penetration felt WET, because he never experience it in real life. somehow this sets a limitations to our imagination. That is our brain can only RETRIEVE what was experienced before but can not manufacture new feelings.

Also as Zach said, since he feels that kissing is soooo goood, his brain always retrieve them in his dreams. That goes with what I read before that the brain stores STRONGLY those experiences associated with intense feeling and as such they are very easy to retrieve in our dreams. In other words, those experiences are always at the TOP of our head hahahah. for me, I can not forget the first touch I had with a girl. It was actually when I touched her hands and it was so soft and it felt so good. I always had this touch in my sexual dreams. Some times with her and other times with others.
