Semen in urine?

Hey everyone,

I have read a few posts from guys on here about some precum or semen coming out while going to the bathroom, but I wanted to get some opinions from guys about this. I havent started ABing to try and have a wet dream, am thinking about it though. I currently MB about 5 times a week. What I'm worried about is that even now at least a few times a week when I pee, I see some cloudyness when I first start that is either semen or precum, I'm not sure which. But I'm worried that this will hinder future efforts to try and AB to get a WD because my body seems to get rid of excess that way.

Any thoughts by you guys that have a lot of experience with this would be appreciated!

hey, this happens to me a lot as well, and seems to happen especially after its been a few days. it does not seem to hinder in any way, in fact, its generally an indication to me that im likely to get a wet dream soon.

Cloudiness could be many things. This happens to me, even when I used to mb all the time. With semen coming out during urination for me there were three distinct things that stood out.

1. After urinating, semen would actually come out. The sensation to urinate was there and I felt I had to urinate more and it actual semen. And we all know what they looks like.
2. semen in urine stream while pissing. you can see what looks like a little white jelly thing and it either is suspended in the toilet water or sinks. that is semen.
3. a clear slimy bubbly layer that is on top of the water, you may or may not notice it after peeing. Me, being a science nerd, got a q-tip and wanted to see what it was, and it in fact was pre-cum. Which I rarely precum, but apparently I do alot, it just does not come out like many guys and stays inside, so I pee it out. Sometimes my urine will double split and stream two ways then form one stream. SOMETIMES, not always, this indicates you have semen or precum in your urethra. I dont know why it splits or the pee likes to shoot weird angles, but it does.

The cloudy urine, that could be anything from what you eat, to about 100 different things. I will not say any one of them, cuz no need to get you to start googling up things. I am pretty sure you are not urinating semen at this point and you will definitely know it when you do it. It is a distinct feeling, almost like urinating, just not exactly the same.

this happens to me too, after about two weeks of abs, i start to get semen, and sometimes sperm in my pee. sometimes after i leak percum, mixed in with very thick sperm.

Same here. I start getting semen mixed with my urine on day 9 or 10 of abstinence. Like clockwork, every time I abstain. I've confirmed it is semen with sperm by taking a sample drop of the cloudy portion after peeing in a glass, and looking under my microscope for sperm - there's lots of them.

I still wonder if this passing of extra semen in the urine is why I have difficulty in getting WD's, even after long periods of abstinence. Are there others who can't seem to get WDs and notice the semen in their urine too? Are there some guys who have semen in their urine and get frequent WD's? I'm wondering if this excess semen release is different from guy to guy, i.e. maybe some release through WDs, while others release it when they pee?

Excellent initiative and scientific method to see if the cloudy stuff was a mixture.

I would do the same but I do not have a microscope here at home. I do at the lab but could u imagine the shock if i took urine to look at it there. lol.

i notice when going natural for me, about 8+ days my urine starts getting bubbly big time. People tell me its from too much protein but I disagree. I do weight train and consume more protein to help build muscle, but if this was the case, during times of mb, then why is my urine crystal clear and not bubbly. Seems to me the mixture makes frothy bubbles after going natural for a while. I ended up giving in on day 18. Feels bad for doing it, but shortly a day or so later, urine was no longer bubbly. I am on day 4 now. I noticed during that time period i did not get any SEs and before I got them frequently. So it is possible it was being eliminated with the urine.

Welcome back Focus! I think there is more to it than your theory. We know that some guys can abstain for a long time without any release, and then start to get frequent WDs. A couple of guys here recently got two WDs in one night after abstaining for (at least in one case) over two months. There are also a few other cases where WD rates increased dramatically after a long abstinence with no WDs.

We've also seen that it is not too uncommon for a guy to finally induce one single orgasm after a long period of abstinence, only to find that he has a WD soon after.

So cause and effect may well be the opposite of your theory. It is lack of WDs that may cause extra semen in urine, and in fact these guys who went so long without an ejaculation before getting WDs almost certainly had semen in their urine before they got their WDs.

I think a better explanation of WDs might be that there is more than one 'brain path' to ejaculation. One is mostly physical, although it normally requires some level of arousal as well. But there is another brain path to orgasm that is mostly or completely based on arousal. Some people can induce orgasms that way while they are awake with no physical stimulation, and others do it in their dreams.

It makes sense that the two brain paths, the physical and arousal based, normally go together to create an orgasm. But, depending on the person, the way their brain is constructed, how frequently and realistically they dream, etc, some guys can more easily induce an orgasm through the arousal paths in their dreams than other guys can.

This may also explain why WDs are normally more intense than MB. The whole body may have to become extremely aroused to reach orgasm without physical stimulation.

Guys who MB frequently for years have trained their brains to get orgasms mainly through the physical stimulation brain paths, while guys who have never MBd do it through the arousal paths and more easily get WDs. In other words, frequent MBers may find it harder to 'activate' the arousal-only paths all the way to ejaculation. At the other extreme, there are guys whose normal outlet to ejaculation is through the arousal path while dreaming, and some of them even have trouble reaching orgasm through MB.

It is also interesting that while guys can have WDs about anything, a rather high percentage of guys dream they are having sex, even if they have never had sex and have MBd hundreds or thousands of times. It may be that guys who naturally find MB less exciting and fulfilling move to WDs more easily. Or, in other words, horny guys who have disconnected their desire for orgasm from a desire to MB are logically more likely to get WDs.

This also explains the fact that some guys can start to get frequent WDs after abstaining for a long time. Blocked from their normal physical outlet, their brains finally learn to get the orgasms they want through the arousal paths in dreams. It also explains why guys often say that their WDs get better and more intense over time, once they start. Their brains get more practiced at using and enjoying the new brain paths.

This all suggests that the best way to move to WDs is to separate horniness from a desire to MB. The idea of it being superior and better to enjoy the benefits and effects of 'going natural', and seeing MB as having negative effects, should help guys move on to WDs.
