A lot of people, including myself, have said the same thing. WDs seem to arrive when we least expect them. I'm not of the belief that we jinx ourselves by wanting them so badly. Well that was by design. I set out at 33 to get a WD. I had never had one before and wanted to know what it was like. I achieved both of mine between 50 and 60 days of abstinence. I quickly fell off the wagon afterward. From then on I would make half-hearted attempts at trying again. My best record was 60 days back in 2008. Nothing came of it and I gave up again. This time I want to abstain, but for more than just the novelty of getting a WD.
