The thing that stands out to me is that these guys have separated their sexuality from a desire to MB. I think this allows for a certain freedom. A guy who is tempted to MB who wants a WD has to control himself and be careful not to give in and MB. But a guy for whom MB does not exist can look forward to an exciting WD while not holding anything back at all. In a way he is more 'ready' for a WD.
Shadow-15 seemed quite happy to have his desire to MB be 'abolutely gone', while at the same time looking forward to having sex yet again in more WD's.
Another example of this attitude is this guy:
http://www.misterpoll.com/forums/82289/topics/124875 If I figure I'm going to have a wet dream that night,(and it's always just a guess, or I'm horny) I just slip a sock on over my pe..s. it keeps things dry and it's still comfortable, and if you shoot off in the night just dry with the sock slip it off and your'e ready to sleep nude the rest of the night.
MB simply doesn't seem to exist for him, and WD's seem to be his normal and expected outlet.
There seems to be a correlation between sleeping nude and abstaining from MB. Shadow-15 said that he would not be sleeping nude if he MB'd, and many other abstainers seem to like to start sleeping that way. I think lack of letdown hormones and expression of body enjoyment and non-MB sexuality may account for it. Some guys say it helps them get more WD's.
We have seen that people are different in how easily they get WD's and how often they occur. But it seems quite normal for the WD rate to increase after they start, even if the first one took a long time. It also appears normal for WD's to become more intense and enjoyable with time.
I think in some way all of it is tied together. There may even be a 'chicken and egg' thing where causes and effects intermingle and blur a bit.
