No Porn whilst AB

Hi folks,

I just had a question on why is it good to stay from porn whilst trying to abstain to achieve a wet dream? I mean shouldn't the porn strengthen your mind so when you go to sleep you can visualize a scenario even better?

For me there are two main reasons; the obvious one being that I can't look at porn w/o MB. The other reason is that my desire is to not only give up MB for WD but also to break free from any and all addictions, which porn has definitely become. I do not like what the lust does to my mind although I know some guys relish it. I would rather pursue relationships with living, breathing masterpieces than watch someone on a screen have all the fun.

It is also good to keep away from porn at anytime in my honest opinion,because it is often perverted and dirty. I mean, it is abusing what sex should really be like. It's often made only for commercial uses, big money makers who want to make more and more money. I'd bet you my bottom dollar (I'm not even american its just a saying!) that a lot of the time the females don't ever enjoy it. Afterall they are being exploited at a high charge, (otherwise they wouldn't do it most probably) so I guess it is considered immoral for those reasons.
To answer your question I guess a lot of guys think this also, but use pornography anyway for masturbation when they have the chance. So I guess it makes sense that being masturbation free can include being free from pornography, while feeling in control and staying away from something that they know deep down is immoral and makes them feel bad about themselves afterwards- that's my experience anyway

I agree with all of u. Absolutely porn is bad. It hinders a genuine honest human contact/relationship. In addition, for so long porn has been showing to those who watch it (i consider them as porn victims) the wrong and wicked side of sex...i mean they are potraying sex in a wrong way and worse make money out of it!!! Porn leads to many social problems, i dont have to make a list here because it can goes on and on so i dont want to be part of or support something that damages our society...never! Yeah, avoid it, and its totally for non-religious reasons. Every time I start thinking I can cause a WD, or speed it up, and it won't affect me, then I screw up and MB. Try just to stay away from it. Then the NFL cheerleaders or girl walking on sidewalk start to look like porn, but work on resisting it.
