Wet Dreams and Age 2011

My age was 25 when I voted -- therefore your permanent record 'needs' to be updated, if you value accuracy. ;) Also to answer your question (which you asked recently on another thread,) the reason for my acute increase of NEs/WDs, ( -- n.b. not all of my emissions were accompanied by recalled/remembered dreams, -- ) is stress. [Mainly distress, although some eustress.] :sad-pacing: This the most likely reason I can think of to be the cause. Specifically, recently I've been unwell with a virus that causes common-cold- or influenza-type symptoms. :sad-fever: I won't list my symptoms here, as they are typical cold-flu symptoms. In my case, my symptoms were worse than the usual colds I've contracted from time to time, but OTOH they were not as bad as the worst `flu that I've suffered from. :text-woo: In addition to these physical causes of moderate distress, I've been burdened with some psychological distress recently too. This was caused by my concern about examinations results, prior to having opened them. :whistle:

^ So far, your results suggest that the general age range of 16-21 is the peak for people who abstain, to have WDs. At either side (for a few years,) of this peak, there are the second highest amounts of WDs. This is what I'd expect, due to the fact that the brain develops until the age of about 25-26, and 16-21 is generally the period where a boy/girl turning 16 becomes a full man/woman at about age 21. Although puberty is usually finished by 16, the next five years is the end of the main period of adolescence, with physiological changes still taking place. These changes continue to take place until the age of about 25-26, so there are roughly two five year periods, the first (16-21) being more intense than the last (21-26.)

I think the occurrence of wet dreams/dream orgasms roughly correlates to a man’s/woman’s sexual peak rather than brain & body development. I read about the Kinsey study on nocturnal orgasms which said that the peak of activity for males is in their teens and twenties, while the peak of activity for females is in their forties.
