Putting frequency aside for the moment, I certainly prefer wet dreams to masturbation.

However, I've struggled to get more wet dreams, and abstaining doesn't seem to help me get wet dreams at all. Even if abstaining did work for me, say if it took me 2 months to get 1 wet dream - I don't think that 1 wet dream would be better than the collective 30-40 orgasms I would have in that time if masturbating.

Just my opinion.
