I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but after reading these forums it seems that these WDs don't follow the conventional rules.

The first strange WD occurred a couple of months ago when I was MBing nearly daily and I had MBed to ejaculation one night and I had a WD while sleeping.

The second occurred just last night where I had been edging for over two hours. In the morning to find a surprisingly large stain on my boxers.
I am just curious to hear your stories and experiences.

Many guys have reported WD's after MB earlier the same day, and it goes to prove that there is much more to what triggers WD's than just the "full tank" theory from abstaining for a long period of time. Obviously if WD's were just nature's way for the body to get rid of excess semen and sperm that hasn't been ejaculated for a long time, we wouldn't see these WD's so soon after ejaculation from MB.

The question is, what are these triggers??? I think its mostly in the brain, but I don't know what specifically (hormones, stress, etc.).

I believe that there is a strong phsychological aspect as well because the night that I had been edging I had thoroughly convinced myself that I was going to have a WD.

P.S, I have photos of my boxers after my WD if anyone is interested please just post and I can put them up.

Your first account isn't unheard of, but you wouldn't see it as the norm

The second account seems quite common, for me anyway, when i was younger and doing more...err...how shall i say..."experiments". Edging would normally result in waking up the next morning with a wet patch. But religiously and even just in the way it felt, it wasn't like a natural wd.

I often assumed that it simply made it easier for me to "go" while asleep if i did that awake.

Think of it like edging a few hours before ..err...making babies....logic would say you wouldnt last as long.

So your 2nd account appears normal, but the 1st can also occur due to various reasons, like after u mb, did you shut your mind from the entire subject and just move on with your life, your body not having the small mental release would be more "edgy" by the time you go to bed.

But everyone is different, i am shocked that some people, even young ones are waiting months for their next wd...that is just...wow, how strange...

Jameso, as Focus said, it is unusual but not impossible to get a WD after MB. I see that you were thinking of not MBing for all of 2008. It will be interesting to see what happens if you continue to abstain. I suspect that your WD rate would go way up.

Focus, I agree. This is what I've been experiencing:

1. Virtually every WD I've had occured when I wasn't even aware of abstaining.
2. Most WD's occured after a relatively short time of abstainance of about 2 or 3 weeks.
3. About a third of my WDs occured after an extremely short time - 3 or 4 days, 1 day in one case.
4. Travelling and inregular sleeping times connected with it increase the likelyhood of a WD.
5. Thinking about abstainance or a soon WD doesn't increase the likelyhood of a WD. Quite contrariwise, it increases the likelyhood of caving in.

Focus, what do you think about a little experiment? I'd find it interesting to know what's happening if you try my "strategy." Here's what I'd recommend:

Abstain as always, but this time try to forget you're abstaining at all. If you need the date of your last ejaculation for later reference, you can keep a note in some secret place. Try to forget how many days you've gone. Don't think about MB, don't think about WDs and don't even remind you're abstaining.

It would be interesting to know if this strategy increases the likelyhood of a WD in other persons than just me.

I think some people will be interested in photos from your wet dreams. I used to post some of mine but realized that only me and a couple other people did this and then it felt weird being almost alone doing that with everyone else just watching and not contributing. Plus, they were all about the same anyway, so if you find my old pictures that is about what they all look like. It is a coincidence that you wrote that post because I just had a wet dream different from the rest and the stain itself is different, but in this case it is less. I took pictures but did not post them. If you post yours I might get around to uploading mine.

There was even discussion about how to and who will shoot a video of themselves having a wet dream and of course that never happened.

Is there anything else you can say about your wet dreams? You only tell us what you did before and what it was like waking up. But what were the dreams like or about or feel like?

Well, I would have to agree, based on my one and only WD I ever had: it occured after only 5 days of abstinence, and I wasn't even thinking about abstaining or trying to get a WD - I was just so busy with school work and exams, etc. that I didn't have time to MB, and I kind of just forgot about it. I mean I probably could have fit MB in during my showers or whatever, but it wasn't even on my mind at the time because I was somewhat stressed with how much school work I had to do. This happened long before the WD forum ever existed, of course.

To repeat that environment today would be difficult, seeing that I'm much more aware of WD's now, and I'm much more self conscious of my abstaining efforts and my strong desire to get another WD. Especially since I run this forum - I don't see how I could remove WD's and abstaining from my mind. I seldom experience stress, although I do get very busy from time to time. But my sex drive is so strong that I have to be thinking about abstaining to actually abstain (making a conscious effort), otherwise I'll always be seeking a release.

Well I said I would post my latest wet dream pictures so here they are. I decided to take a view from the outside and inside as well. You have to find my older ones to compare because I don't have them on my computer anymore.

What was very different about this dream was the dream, the feeling and the amount. Usually my dreams go on for a long time and have this long slow tingle which used to give me the idea that I was slowly peeing for a long time but which later I guessed was just the feeling of my erection combined with the precum oozing out which I think made up most of my wet dream mess. But this one was fast. I was rolling around on the grass with this bunch of people. It wasn't sexual and they were boys and girls but I don't know who they were. It was almost like those cartoons where a snowball of things or people keeps getting bigger and bigger as it rolls along until it is too crazy to be real. I just remember tumbling around like on an amusement park ride trying to keep from getting hurt and laughing to show that I wasn't scared. But when the ball of people stopped I was trapped on the bottom and instead of being scared I had this peaceful feeling flow over me. I was laying in the grass belly down and I could feel all the people pressing on me. At that point I remember smelling something which I can only describe as the smell I have under my arms when I sometimes check and need a little deodorant, so not nasty like other people but strong enough to notice but still I thought it was from the other people. Anyway, right then I felt a strong erection happen and then a bunch of blasts happened and I woke up a few seconds later. So it was shorter than usual and the feeling was more rapid fire and unexpected, and I guess a little stronger.

But when I woke up the stain was smaller than usual. I think maybe there was no precum in this dream because the actual size looks a lot like the smaller semen part of my other wet dreams inside the larger precum stain area.

Well there you go.

It is difficult to follow the advise, "don't think about it," when "it" is something that you are obsessed with. Better, in my opinion, to frame it in the positive: "think instead about this: the moment to moment beneficial effects of abstaining." And be thankful.

I wonder what the underarm scent was about? I know we generate pheremones in the armpits, and part of underarm scent contains those pheremones. Light amounts of underarm scent is supposed to be sexually attractive to the opposite sex (although a lot of modern thinking (especially western) has conditioned us to believe that any underarm scent is body odor and nasty). There could also be a slight sexual attraction to our own pheremones and scents such as underarm scent. So I wonder if you smelling that in your dream, immediately followed by an erection, was all connected somehow?

Focus, I can't figure out the underarm part of it. There were none in my dream. Or I didn't see any (it was dark) and I don't think I was near one because my face was on the grass. I just smelled it from nowhere and I reported that I did. I just happened to know what the smell was afterward thinking about it. It wasn't me because when I woke up the smell was gone so it was a dream smell.

Thanks for posting Jameso. Your wet dream looks like the amount mine usually are. But I noticed that you wrote your wet dreams happen in briefs but they are boxers.
