Tonight I was in the shower and got aroused and basically I got an erection. Let's just say I didn't try my hardest to get rid of it right away. Even during my abstinance I hardly ever get sustained erections while awake, usually just a couple minutes at most, and it was just pleasant so I kinda let it stay. I didn't touch it though, at all. I think I had a little bit of pre-ejaculate but that's all. now would having an erection like that hamper my possibility of a WD at all? just wondering...

No, erections won't hamper your chances of getting a WD. Just don't play with it, as it will likely lead to an ejaculation, and ejaculations do hamper your chances of getting a WD.
Guys have several erections lasting more than 3 hours every night we sleep, so erections certainly don't hinder WD's.
