Oh yes, when you change the start date a new record gets added.
To erase the old record, edit it, but give an end date that is before the start date, and don't forget the password |

That happens if you choose the same start date and the same username as the time you recorded it, but another password. You probably made a typo in the password when you first recorded it... I send you a PM with the actual password. |

No reason to be sorry, it's my fault - I kept the record page as small as possible, without register and login, in order to avoid yet another nickname, yet another password, yet another profile for each user. This simplicity has drawbacks, like the fact that every single record has a password, and that things can be recorded twice. Any suggestions are welcome to make it easier to use!
A direct connection to this forum's user database would make sense, but after I had programmed the record page, I thought that it could be used for more than one purpose and by more than one community (my own primary interest is abstinence or enforced chastity rather than WDs) - I'll eventually add new links on the top and mention its existence on other forums, so it's better if it remains independant.
I'll help the users to discover it; if it becomes too much, I'll write FAQ or find another system. Until then... thanks for sharing your info in spite of the primitive technique |

I have a question about the Progress Record Page. Do you have to update the date every day because I noticed that the until part said March 5 because that was the date that I set up my record and wasn't current with today's date? I updated it today, but does it need to be updated every day or is there a way for it to automatically update the date and the count of how many days it has been since I MB'ed. Thanks. |

The point is: many people won't take care of recording the day when they start MBing again. So if the system counts automatically, the ones who abstained for 2 days and then forgot about their record would appear as still abstaining and get all the best marks... That's why you have to explicitely edit your current record every now and then.
Another reason is that this record page is intended to help us abstain by regularly tracking our progress. If the system counts by itself, well, you go to the record page, see what you've made, and that's it - it doesn't help much. It helps more if you actively record what you've made.
You don't have to edit your current record every day, just every now and then, when you have a WD, when you MB (don't!), when you're proud of your duration and want to tell the others, or when you feel it difficult to abstain and need a recall. I personally find it's motivating to edit a record every day, at the beginning at least
6 weeks here! No WD yet - edging a lot... |

It will become several pages as soon as I have an idea on how many records should appear on each, or of some other rule (e.g. all records updated in the last 2 weeks on the first page). What do you think?
(Sex + 2 MBs for me yesterday, starting anew...) |
